What Matters Most
From Steve Love, on behalf of the CSD 13J Board of Directors
It has been my pleasure to serve on the Central School District board of directors for the past 5 years. During this time I have learned a great deal about what it takes to create an environment where every child in our district can thrive. As we look forward to the 2016-17 school year I can say that we have more focus and momentum in the areas that matter most:
- Professional development
- Improved curriculum
- Improved student assessment processes and data
- Improve communication tools including this website
- Community involvement and partnerships
- Vibrant professional learning communities connected through a model of distributed leadership
While work remains to be done in all of these areas, we feel very positive about the upcoming school year and remain committed as your board to provide the support and leadership to help all our students reach or exceed their potential.
If you have any questions, feedback or concerns we’d love to hear from you. Each board member’s contact information can be found on the School Board Members webpage.
